The Fair is Fare Fashion Tour is a series of captivating and stimulating events that aim to raise awareness about Human Rights as well as promote Fair Trade & Eco-Sustainability in the fashion industry The tour also promotes the Universal Declaration of Human Rights laid forth by the United Nations.
The creativity, the artistry, the absolute elegance of an evening of fashion fused with raising awareness of sweatshop free and eco-friendly clothing lines is what many have come to expect from the Fair is Fare Fashion Tour. Our No Sweat Fashion Show features several sustainable, organic and sweatshop free clothing companies that uphold strong worker ethics and comply with the twenty third article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Clothing manufacturers that advertise as “Sweatshop Free” must have Unions led by workers and a safe working environment. Most of these companies visit each of their manufacturing locations and interview workers to ensure compliance with Article 23. The aim of the No Sweat Fashion Show is to give everyone the option of making a difference in the world just by being a consumer.
